Overall Dianna Agron has a net worth of $5 million dollars, as of 2020.
Dancing Through Childhood
Dianna was born in Savannah, Georgia on April 30, 1986. Her father’s career as a general manager for Hyatt Hotels had the family on the move, living in high-end hotels from San Francisco to Texas. But the youngster kept busy with dance and musical theater and had a strong relationship with her family’s Jewish faith. The bombshell, who is a portrait of poise, began teaching dance lessons in high school and by the time she graduated, had saved up enough to finance a move to Los Angeles to pursue a full-time acting career.
Dianna’s first Hollywood roles included bit parts on several TV shows, including Shark, Close to Home, CSI: NY, Drake & Josh, Heroes and Veronica Mars. But in 2009, she landed an audition for the show that would put her in living rooms across America—Glee. The show was originally pitched as the High School Musical of primetime and Agron’s dance skills, powerful pipes, and musical theater experience made her a perfect candidate. Only problem? Petrified Dianna was so nervous she almost didn’t get out of her car. Luckily, she found her nerve and nailed the audition, winning the role of the virtuous, yet cutthroat, high school cheerleader Quinn Fabray.
The show was an instant hit and its young actors were catapulted into the public eye. The cast also landed a Grammy nomination and the SAG Award for Best Ensemble—the latter of which Dianna got to take home. But Dianna’s small screen gig paved the way for big screen parts. She appeared opposite Cher in 2010’s Burlesque and starred in Michael Bay’s 2011 sci-fi flick I Am Number Four. The previous year, the busy up-and-comer showed off her array of talents and dedication when she wrote and sold her own screenplay for the short film A Fuschia Elephant, which she also directed, produced and starred in.
Not So Gleeful Tabloid Drama
She may play a goody two-shoes on Glee, buther sex appeal and tumultuous romantic life have landed her a primetime spot in the headlines. In the spring of 2010, Dianna was named one of People magazine’s Most Beautiful People. Later that year she received some flack from her family-focused fans when she left little to the imagination alongside her costars Lea Michele and Cory Monteith for a very racy GQ spread.
In early 2011, Agron was back in the tabloids when she suddenly broke things off with her I Am Number Four costar, Alex Pettyfer. Agron started dating the equally up-and-coming British bad boy in 2010 and the couple spoke very openly to the press about their relationship. They moved in together and sparked rumors of engagement before Dianna moved out in early 2011. She reportedly checked into a hotel under an alias, petrified of the reportedly “loose cannon” Pettyfer. Within weeks of the split, Dianna’s name was back in the papers when she reportedly flirted and swapped digits with Chris Evans at an Oscar party. There’s no doubt that this stunning newcomer will continue to mingle with the hottest of Hollywood’s leading men.
Defining Quote “In the beginning of my career, people would say to me, ‘You can’t read for the mean girl character because that’s just not how we see you.’ And I would say, ‘But, it’s acting. I’m an actor.'”
